Author Guidelines

1. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be written in clear, professional English. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

General Formatting Requirements

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Font: Palatino Linotype, 10 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
  • Pages must be numbered consecutively

2. Structure of the Manuscript

Authors should organize manuscripts in the following order:

  • Title Page: Full title, author name(s), institutional affiliation(s), corresponding author's email address
  • Abstract: 150–250 words stating purpose, methodology, key findings, and implications
  • Keywords: 4–6 keywords relevant to the study
  • Main Text: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results/Findings, Discussion, Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • Funding Information (if applicable)
  • Conflict of Interest Statement
  • References

3. Referencing Style

IJGHMI accepts APA, Harvard, or Chicago referencing styles. Ensure all in-text citations appear in the reference list and all references are cited in the text with complete and accurate information.

4. Tables, Figures, and Illustrations

  • Number consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1)
  • Provide clear titles and sources (if applicable)
  • Figures must be high-resolution
  • Permission must be obtained for copyrighted material

5. Ethical Responsibilities

By submitting to IJGHMI, authors confirm that the work is original and free from plagiarism, all listed authors have made significant contributions, the manuscript is not under review elsewhere, and data has been collected and reported ethically.

6. Plagiarism Policy

IJGHMI maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts with significant similarity to previously published work may be rejected or returned for revision.

7. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process including: initial editorial screening, review by subject experts, author revisions (if required), and final editorial decision. This ensures fairness, objectivity, and academic quality.

8. Article Processing Charges (APC)

IJGHMI is an open-access journal. Any applicable Article Processing Charges (APC), waivers, or discounts will be communicated to authors after acceptance.

9. Submission Process

Manuscripts should be submitted via the official submission system or designated email listed on the journal website. Before submission, ensure the manuscript follows journal formatting, references are complete and accurate, all required sections are included, and author details are correct.

10. After Acceptance

Once accepted, authors may be asked to make minor formatting revisions, proofs will be sent for final approval, articles will be published online and assigned a DOI, and authors will receive confirmation of publication.
